All programs have been compressed using the free open-source tool 7-Zip and must be extracted before use.
7-Zip is available in many languages and for various operating systems: https://www.7-zip.org/
A personal note:
Question: Why don’t I offer my programs in the Microsoft Store?
Answer: Anyone who has ever tried to create a Microsoft Store developer account will understand. As a private developer, you have to provide, among other things, your passport or ID to Microsoft, including a live video of your face. My clear answer to that is: No.
For companies or freelance developers, there are similar hurdles. In addition, it costs CHF 99 per year just to offer free software in the Store.
I have chosen not to go this route.
In addition, publishing through the Store involves annual fees (currently CHF 99), even for free software. For my purposes, I prefer to provide my software directly via my own website.
If you have any concerns about using software from an independent developer, you may find the following link helpful:

There, you can scan files using multiple well-known antivirus engines.
